Purple piping is expected give the County's water conservation efforts a boost! The piping, which carries reclaimed water for outdoor use, will benefit Niceville and surrounding areas in Central Okaloosa County. The 8-mile stretch of piping may take some time to complete but, the Board agreed Tuesday, to the easement with Eglin Air Force Base.

The Board voted unanimously, Tuesday, to deed a 3.5-mile parcel of land to the City of Niceville! The city requested the transfer of the property, located at the intersection of Forest Road and Rocky Bayou Drive, to develop a public park.
