Public health is important for our community. This is why our county recommends following CDC Guidelines intended to slow the spread of coronavirus, including wearing cloth face coverings in public places where social distancing is difficult.
Additionally, we encourage our community to follow proper sanitization guidelines, distancing of 6 feet or more between groups, hand washing often and staying home when sick!
The Okaloosa County Mobile Testing Sites have been a huge hit! Since our EMS team rolled out the initiative about a month ago, nearly one thousand people have been tested. That equates to approximately one in seven tests in the county.
We've just rolled out additional testing dates, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health-Okaloosa, for the month of June.
